Who Am I

Be my light, not the cause of my fight
Too close, too far, you will never say, doesn't matter, I cant stay
My heart hurts, my head twisted
Energy Shifted, reasurrance needed.

Theres a feeling missing, it leaves me incomplete,
A fine needle prick beneath my feet,
Do the chances of potential matter anymore, if the pattern continues to highlight your flaws,
These a minuscule demons, they do not rule, but merely interfer is what they do.

Who am I to you, who am I for you,
The excitement dies the more I do,
I guide myself, though feeling lost,
It seems I'd leap for lust no matter the cost.

Let it out, try to breathe, remind myself what it is to be me, the comfort of others wont set you free.
Beauty is inforced through a positive mind, an outside opinion can leave you behind,
Insecurities become visible, they leave your skin haggered,
But to be kind and pure always is all that matters

Who am I to you, who am I for you,
The excitement dies the more I do,
I guide myself, though feeling lost,
It seems I'd leap for lust no matter the cost.

Those with less find a way to be happy and bright,
Those with more are not so easy to satisfy
It may take a while to discover earths gift
Luckily for us, nature is a patient artist.

Who am I to you, who am I for you,
The excitement dies the more I do,
I guide myself, though feeling lost,
It seems I'd leap for lust no matter the cost.

I see people, people everywhere, the old, the young, with their innocent glare,
Sometimes I speak out to those above,
Though theres nothing more soothing than a mothers love.
So why feel inclined to Sculpt myself,
To fit a society thats sits on the shelf,
Pointing and judging, making assumptions on what everyone should be,
When I as I am and learning to simply just be me.
